I believe this is because the topic was posted in Bulletin Board.
If this is really why then that sucks

I assume it’s because the bulletin board is focused on helping Roblox users, not developers.
Why would this be the reason? Depite hitting 50 likes on a reply i have never received the Great Reply badge. Devforum is just a huge buggy mess.

You won’t receive badges for topics made in private categories.
