For example, this group (Roblox Creatiоns - Roblox) makes many models. In the Roblox Studio toolbox, when you click on the owner, which is this group name, it searches by the official Roblox, making players think this is actually the real Roblox. Those distributed models contain a backdoor, which isn’t allowed on Roblox.
I mean this isn’t really a bug, just report it and move on ig
I mean, it is technically a bug since if you click on the creator in the toolbox, it search by the actual Roblox official account even if the creator of the model isn’t even the official Roblox account.
Ohh, thanks for clearing that up.
Yeah, that’s a MAJOR oversight on Roblox’s end if this is the case. That should definitely be fixed.
This group has been locked. Not sure if it was already locked before you submitted the report, or whether this even resolves the issue, but just posting this to notify
It wasn’t when I made the post, but thank for telling me. ![]()
somewhat duplicate of my report:
edit: disregard as per @leek_clee below
Oh sorry, I didn’t check if anyone had made a post for this. ![]()
Hey @St4tic_UI thanks for flagging this issue! We just launched a new version of Store UI that doesn’t have this bug, so please restart Studio and let us know if you continue to run into this problem.
Hey @BestSpyBoy, thanks for flagging but this issue is slightly different. We just flagged this to the team that handles group impersonation policies, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!
apologies, misread the bug report.
i now understand they were reporting the “by Roblox” filter not the group name itself :))
