Our game was recently removed due to “Intellectual Property Violation”. Owner of roblox group where game is published did not receive any e-mail with additional information what exactly was infringed.
On the screenshot of ban you can see “This policy violation was detected by automated means, and we used autoimation when making this decision”.
We are assured in that we did not infringed any copyright rights, as all our content is authentic and we do own or have rights to use all assets in this game.
Any suggestions what we can do about this problem? We already have sent support ticket to Roblox Moderation Team and Copyright agent and waiting for their responses.
We did some research and found out that someone experience this problem too. Other post. We suppose this problem isn’t ours only.

The most interesting thing is that recently updated this AI, which in this case and banned us, Why roblox is 100% confident in the AI that in the end do not even write which asset was banned?
You can even cite a fatal erroneous project with Robloxs AI who was given access to unlock stolen accounts, after which these accounts were put up for sale

The Code Completion feature, or what you might call “Conversation in Comments”.
roblox collects data from other playsets, including comments it seems, which leads to such irrelevant contexts
There are cases when people commented on a line above a function, explaining what’s going on in that function, it may write a context that doesnt fit it in anyway like “AOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…” .
or
if you ask a strange question, a VEEERY super strange question, it will answer it as yes ( ill not say that there ) there are a video about it lol
While I’m somewhat confident that contacting Roblox directly via mentioned channels, excluding the Dev Forum, is the only real helpful way to deal with that problem, I can fully understand and support the position of frustration regarding such incident.
Banning the entire account and the game because of a questionable allegation to violating the IP (known-to be abused thing btw) is simply stupid
The fact that the action did result in the termination of an account without neither any concrete evidence nor human approval nor simply shutting the place down can only be seen as outrageous in regard to the platform.
IMO, Such matter is to be handled via Roblox directly, only.

It seems to me that Roblox should generally disable AI moderation for cases related to DMCA. AI moderation is a good thing and it can really help save time for mods, but only if it deals with minor violations. Only human should deal with DMCA cases, because they require investigation and, in some cases, exceptions, which AI moderation does not make.
The last time I saw a stupid DMCA claim without any elaboration was around 2020, when the owners of Raise a Floppa were reported because of the rock model used in simulators, as I remember. I have no clue how did they find out the reason for the termination, but it wasn’t mentioned in the automated message earlier. Plus the status of a popular game kinda helped them i believe…
Lack of information is always annoying, especially in case of termination, people really dislike it and you can search for more topics created. I’m sure they’ve made topics on this!
I don’t know if you searched for them, but devforum’s search kinda sucks without filters imho. So unfortunate this happened, but if this is a global issue - it should be addressed.
