False Moderation Takedowns for "Spam" on Original Content

My UGC emote was taken down for “Spam” despite being original content. I have appealed, and the appeal was accepted, but the item was never reinstated. After further contact with support, the stated reason for the takedown then changed to “Terrorism” and “Violent Extremism”, which does not match the content or the original moderation reason given on the platform.

Affected asset ID: 97847706148165

  • This emote is entirely original content.
  • It has been on sale since UGC emotes were officially released publicly in August of 2025.
  • It has over 300,000 sales and is one of the bestselling emotes available on the marketplace, with copies of my original work still available on the platform and unable to be DMCA’d due to mine being moderated.

Timeline:
09/22/26 - Emote was moderated and taken down for Spam (7:20 PM), I appealed (9:32 PM), and the appeal was accepted (9:34 PM).
09/22/26 - I contacted support by email for asset moderation, I was told multiple times that my appeal was accepted and that the item would be back on sale within 3 days. It was not.
09/24/26 - The first time email support said my item would be reinstated after 3 days.
09/28/26 - The second time email support said my item would be reinstated after 3 days.
09/29/26 - Supports explanation of why my asset was taken down changed, and the takedown was now attributed to “Terrorism” and “Violent Extremism” and said they will not be able to reinstate the asset.

Overall Problem:

  • The original flag of moderation for “Spam” was incorrect for a long-standing and original item.
  • The accepted appeal was not acted on, TWICE.
  • The reason for the takedown changed after the appeal has already been approved three times, with no explanation of how the content was being reviewed.

Expected behavior

  • An accepted appeal should result in the item being reinstated to the platform.

  • If a different moderation reason applies, it should be clearly explained how they came to that conclusion, with the specific content being identified, rather than changing the reasoning after an appeal has already been approved. My ticket was closed after asking for further explanation of how a perfectly appropriate dance is considered violent.

  • Original items with an established sales history should not be taken down by a false report, bug in the moderation system, or inconsistent moderation reasons.

  • Human reviews of these assets should be performed to prevent issues like these happening to original and long-standing creators on the platform so it can be reinstated properly, or given an accurate and specific explanation.

The original reason it was taken down also seems to be a bug with the Visibility flag, just another false flag with all the bugs this feature has;
