Hi everyone!
I’m writing this post to talk about a serious issue with Roblox’s automated moderation system I lost all my accounts due to a false positive termination.
On August 16, 2026, my alt account (@morti_219) was permanently terminated for “Real-World Sensitive Events” after an automated system flagged one of my test game a “So Crying rn” / styled hangout place (Place ID: 73905235540073). Right after that, my main developer account (@Leitox100) was hit with a chain-reaction association ban.
A long time ago, I noticed a game the original “so crying rn” starting to gain massive popularity.
I thought to myself: “This game is so simple maybe I should create a rework of it and add my own systems.”
So, I made the game. It only got like 1k visits, so I abandoned it. Later on, there was some sort of incident involving these games I don’t know the full details but Roblox started deleting all copies of them.
My game didn’t contain any of the things cited in my ban reason it had my own map and my own custom systems. I didn’t published any copies of my game it was the only one.
Every attempt to get a human appeal via support resulted in immediate copy-pasted automated bot refusals. Trying to email legal@roblox.com directly just bounced back with a 550 5.7.1 error block. I’ve even had to file reports with the FTC and BBB just to get a real human to look at this.
Has anyone else recently experienced automated bans on inactive hangout places, or had success getting DevRel/Staff to manually review false positives like this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
-thanks!
