Family Zone - Not receiving coins

(I’m not sure if this is the right place to report this, but… I already tried contacting Roblox Support about this, and I was redirected to an AI chatbot who literally told me to report this on the DevForum.)

Roblox recently released a game called “Family Zone”. This is an official game created by Roblox themselves. In this game you can redeem in-game coins for official Roblox-created avatar items. It would cost at least 1800 coins to obtain all items.

200 + 240 + 280 + 320 + 360 + 400 = 1800

You can get coins by completing in-game quests (with another player) and answering trivia questions.

So my problem is, I completed all of the in-game quests, exhausted all of the trivia questions, and earned all of the game’s badges (besides the badges associated with redeeming avatar items), yet I only have 1596 coins, which isn’t enough to obtain all items. I was planning on redeeming all of the items at once, after I had completed everything.

I think my account (xyrafrost) is in a bugged state here, because I also played the game on a different account, and that account was able to reach 2292 coins.

For some context:

When the game first released, I completed some of the quests solo, but I didn’t realize that you had to complete some of the quests with another player to receive coins. So I wasn’t receiving as much coins as I should, and I incorrectly assumed that the game was bugged.

At the time, the game had a button that let you reset your in-game progress. So I decided to do that, thinking it could fix the supposed “bug”. (The button was removed shortly after.)

It reset my coins to 0, but, I think what happened is that, since I had already completed some of the quests, I just can’t get coins from them again, which means I’m unable to get enough coins to redeem the items. So now I’m stuck.

Unless I’m just doing something wrong here…?

I’ve held off on reporting this for a few weeks because I was just hoping that the game would be updated to allow me to obtain enough coins. But this never happened.

Repro (unsure)

1. Complete quests in the “Family Zone” game, before the “Reset Progress” button was removed. Do not redeem any coins.
2. Reset your progress before the ability to do so was removed.
3. Try to complete quests again, but you will be unable to obtain enough coins to redeem all avatar items.

Expected behavior

I should be able to reach at least 1800 coins.

I just joined the game and apparently I have 2292 coins now, which is enough. I don’t know how this happened, but this problem seems to be resolved now, so I’m closing this report.
