Feature Request: Please Add a Bulk Archive Option (Decal Overload Is Real)

Or at least save us from clicking 500 tiny “…” menus

A way to manage inventory (without developing carpal tunnel)

Dear Roblox Team,

Right now, creators can only archive/delete assets one at a time through the dashboard. This becomes difficult when trying to manage large numbers of uploads, especially decals and images. (Click… archive… repeat 400 times… you get the idea.)

:stop_sign: Current Problem:

There is no way to archive multiple assets in one action, at least as far as I know. When managing hundreds or thousands of uploads, having to click each one individually takes a lot of time and effort, and it also increases the chances of missing or skipping items during cleanup. If this kind of feature already exists and I’ve missed it, I’d be glad to be pointed in the right direction. I had considered creating a browser plugin to help with this, but accessing the required Roblox endpoints would involve using the session cookie, which brings up obvious security concerns. (Also, I’d prefer not to accidentally invent the next malware headline.) It would feel much safer and more appropriate to have this built directly into Roblox.

From the way things have been up till now, I wouldn’t be surprised if some users have already created a new account just to keep their inventory clean. If you’re one of them, please raise your hand; no judgment, only respect.

:bulb: What This Feature Could Do:

A bulk archive option would allow creators to select multiple assets and archive them together. This would make inventory cleanup faster and more manageable, without the current experience of feeling like you’re speed-running a pop-up menu simulator.

:white_check_mark: Features to Include:

  • Checkboxes to select multiple assets (finally)
  • One-click archive button (goodbye repetitive stress injury)
  • Archived assets no longer appear in inventory or search
  • Assets stay stored for moderation or recovery
  • An unarchive option to bring back any archived items (for the indecisive among us)

It would make sense for this kind of feature to be handled in a way that keeps everything running smoothly. Some limits or checks might already be in place, depending on how Roblox manages asset actions. A simple progress display could also help users understand what’s happening during the process; and, give us a moment to breathe between batches.

Why This Matters:

This could make it easier to manage uploaded assets without needing to remove them permanently. It would give creators a way to stay organized, while still keeping everything stored safely in case it’s needed later. And let’s be honest; it would also reduce the number of browser extensions people try to cobble together in the wild.

Thank you for considering this. (And for sparing our wrists.)

Archiving is kind of a pain, i’ve got a group with around 10000 decals and i have to scroll through so many pages to find what i need to take down. Searching by the asset ID or name should at least be added or being able to set what page u want to go to. Making it so that u can archive the asset through the configure tab would also be great.

I 100% agree! I don’t know why it’s so hard to hide stuff.
