My game was in the featured sort from August 26 to September 2. I do not have access to the Featured Developer group here on the DevForum, but other people who had their game featured for that same period do have access.
Is there any reasoning behind this?
The featured sort was automated a while ago. The group was kept, but my guess is they are only keeping it around as a legacy group compared to adding new members.
You should contact @DevEngagementTeam about this rather than posting it on forum feedback.
I’ve contacted them via email and the forum before, and I’m very sure I was blacklisted from contacting, because I have not gotten any response for the past two emails I sent over the past 365 days regarding some matters.
So I’d assume there’s no ‘group’ to join then? So much for that…
This is something I have complained about internally to a DevRel member. They told me the email isn’t actively checked and messaging the group should be done. My complaint is this knowledge isn’t in an announcement, and there is no automated message to cover this.
The group isn’t maintained anymore from what I can tell. It doesn’t unlock anything new compared to something like Post Approval. Once you get to Member, the new features you get access to are responsibilities, not perks.
