As Chairman of the Federal Election Commission I hereby announce the official elections for the U.S. Congress.
Congress Members that are re-running due to term expiration must ALSO go into the game and register. However, they do NOT need to obtain 15 signatures. They simply just need to sign-up in game.

REGISTRATION
In order to run and have your name placed on the ballot, you must enter the game and click the register button. Fill out the prompt, and you will be registered. Next, you must garner 15 signatures of approval. To do so, supporters must enter the game and click on “Support”. A page will appear showing the list of registered candidate. They must then click your name to electronically sign that they are supporting you in the elections. This is NOT a vote, as supporters may sign an unlimited ammount of ballots.
*If you do not have a political affiliation or are unsure, you can register as an independent.
**Registration starts at the time this is shouted by an election administrator (Jody or devGralius) and ends 48 hours after (margin may change ± 10 hours due to circumstances).
*** Submitting it incorrectly will render your submission invalid.
The Federal Election Commission reserves the right to disqualify candidates for breaching any rules, the electoral law and regulations or procedures.

SIGNATURE BALLOTS
(a) Ballot submissions must have had garnered 15+ signatures before elections commence.
(b) Re-running congressmen must register, but they do NOT need to garner 15+ signatures. -
CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
(a) Breaching any of the regulations of the real life 18 U.S. Code Chapter 29 - Elections and Political Activities is not allowed.
(b) Partaking in any form of criminal activity during the election process or being arrested during the process is not allowed.
