Feed Back on Low Poly Tree

Hey guys! I made a low poly tree in Blender and I want feedback on what I can improve and if it’s good or not. This is my 2nd time making a tree on blender and I’m pretty impressed by it. Also, if you could give me a rating from 0-10 that would be great. Thanks developers and have a good day!

In all honesty, it looks like you are trying to cover up the branches with the leaves. How are you making the tree? Did you use the skin modifier? If you did, then you can extrude regions to create more branches, which you should do. Right now, yet it is low-poly, you should still make it more complex, while keeping the low-poly look. Below is a picture of a what I mean with the branches:

Good luck,

Considering I wouldn’t even be able to complete a trunk, this is pretty decent! It still needs some improvements like Generic0001 said, but I would give a 9.5/10.

I would rate the tree 9/10. It’s really well made and has a good low poly feeling to it.

(Keep up the good work!)

Would rate this 8/10, looks like the average low poly tree to me. Not anything special about it, pretty well made though. Good job!

Thanks! I’m not that good at making branches but now I have a picture that I could take some inspiration off I should be able to make a better tree in the future!

It looks like a good start for a textureless/flat shading tree (low poly isn’t a style!!). One thing I’d suggest would be to add a twist to the trunk to give it more definition:

I did this minor twist to all my trees in this forest scene and it turned out really well:

Thank you! I will keep up the good work and will keep on improving on my builds!

Looks good, to make it even better i think you should try making a variety of foliage on the tree, so it doesn’t look like you copied the leafs onto the top of the tree. Maybe resizing and rotating would do the job. 8/10

Overall looks fantastic!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will take it into consideration and will probably do this in the future!

Hello there, i don’t wanna sound rude, but after all this is just a tree nothing too special.
But if i had to give you a feedback on it, i would first of all suggest you to make the branches more visible, it makes the trees look way better, and improve the overall looking of it.
I’ll also suggest you to change the scale of the leaves and the forms of it in general, so like each leaf looks unique and not as identical as all the other leaves, so you can make the tree have some kind of details.
Other than that, since it’s your second tree, you really did a good work on it.
What could i say, keep it up you’re doing a great job

Looks great, it would look better if you changed the material to Smooth plastic and Used a Forest green color on the leaves.

Nice tree so far, could add more detail. 7.5/10

7/10 Make the main branch a bit smaller/thinner

It looks great, but it looks like the leaves are supporting each other otherwise they’ll fall. Maybe add more branches for the leaves and it’ll be a 10/10.
