Feedback a Low Poly Scythe

Hello again, looking for some feedback on a more complex low poly model scythe I’ve been working on for the last couple of days. Any and all feedback is welcome. Please tell me if any thing seems out of sorts as it only helps me get better at this craft. There are future plans for weapon animations, if it is well received I may push it up on my priority list. It definitely has inspirations from a very popular game, see if you can guess which it’s from. Oh and the weapon is named Nightfall. Thanks!

It looks amazing honestly, just the only suggestion I can give ya on it is if you could try to get the crystals to glow. I think it’d look pretty awesome if you could do that! :+1:

Also, I sadly do not know the game :pensive:

Looks very nice! I wouldn’t call it “low poly” though, but that’s it feedback-wise. Keep up the good work :upside_down_face: :+1:

Thanks for the suggestion!

That’s a fair assessment. 1336 tri’s, may have gotten a bit carried away. I’ll work on optimizing my models a bit more in the future to see if I can reduce that.

This isn’t quite low poly, everything is pretty round. I like the look though, in my opinion it looks great!

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I’m going to have to work on that. I will need to optimize my build for the next one and see what I can do to lower poly counts. Not going to lie low poly builds are more complex then they look haha. But there’s a lot to learn.

This is great, I wouldn’t call it “low poly” though. My only problem with it is the color, if you were going for a fantasy game with a certain style this would be a great color pallet however in this setting it looks out of place.

The color of the Scythe is a fair point. The original design is meant for a fantasy setting, but I should build a small showcase to portray that rather than using the Roblox default. Looking at the screen shots again it does look out of place. The oversaturated color palette is from the object that inspired the weapon, Majora’s Mask. Thanks for the comment and I’ll look at building some better showcases, so my models don’t stick out like a sore thumb.
