[FEEDBACK] A night on the Euphrates

This is my first time doing stuff with lighting, so I would like some feedback.

Also does anyone know how to make the water more realistic(as in, reflecting the night sky?)

Thanks!

For water, use any of these materials:
Smooth Plastic, Glass, Tin Foil
and make them highly reflectant, like 0.7-0.9.

If you need more realism, use the actual water terrain from the terrain editor. You can change the color of it in the Terrain object in workspace if you need it darker/lighter.

I really like it, but maybe add more material textures to the building, and stretch the map farther forward so it doesn’t look like the Earth is flat (i mean earth is flat but >_>)

Also, in the properties of any type of lights (I’m assuming you used PointLights), you can turn on the ‘Shadows’ property so no light sources ‘go through’ any walls that may wash out other shadows. Speaking of shadows, you could try using the ‘ShadowMap’ lighting style located in 'Lighting’s properties.

If you have some of these already implemented into your game, you can just skip them because I’m only assuming what you have xd otherwise good for working with lights as a first time!

idk why i wrote this much lol

The build (exterior structure) kind of feature more candles around the land mainly in the water you could use a point light or surface light to create a bit of reflection on the ground to look more realistic. If you’re wanting to make the glass more realistic you could set the part material to glass, and I assume it’s a texture with transparency raised up to create that reflection you could play around with the reflection.

Not sure if you’re asking for feedback on the build itself since you’re more focused on the realistic water instead, however I find the build, looks a little odd it more features a lighter dark brown color or texture with different lighting features on the build the outside appearance isn’t standing out. If you start adding more candles or small lanterns it’ll have that realistic approach.

Add more depth into the build there’s some props and details that are missing, however it’s a good start.

It’s looks good but do as mentioned before.
