Feedback and help with low poly buildings

Hello.

Recently, I have been working on my studio’s upcoming game. The theme of it is low poly and cartoony. I was searching for images and games of examples of buildings in that style and similar to the image below.

Just made this in less than 10 mins and I need some feedback. Does it look nice? Are the colors I chose good? We’re the bricks placed correctly?

The building was heavily inspired by Pet Simulator X

If anyone has any ideas of the buildings I should create, please leave me some pics or a game link so I can get some inspiration. Thanks!

It looks nice although the windows and bricks look repetitive, try makin each one slightly different from the other

Not bad but the another sides are so empty. You are could add something like bricks are some dark than wall or another.

Looks nice! But the sides feel empty. If it was side by side with another building then not a problem. Also, all the bricks feel the same try resizing some of them.

Are they detonating nuclear bombs inside that building lol? I see that it’s missing a slanted roof and antennas but that’s about it.

you should add more bricks, they way they are positioned makes it look weird. add more details to the side and back, and make sure that the door is around a character’s height, just a little taller. make sure that you have that thing that makes rthro characters small as r6, too. try adding variation to the window, window hilts, etc. also you should build on a grid i can see lots of scaling and positioning issues.Screen Shot 2021-08-02 at 9.50.07 AM Screen Shot 2021-08-02 at 9.50.12 AM Screen Shot 2021-08-02 at 9.50.28 AM

looks good !
looks like that a part of the building is inside the floor… is it for a basement ?

I love the different colors
i don’t know if it’s a good idea, but what about different window color ?

Yeah yeah. Its just that I keep all my rendering at the lowest for high FPS since my computer isn’t that great.

Make the grey walls a bit thinner

You should find some textures and add them to it. It will make it look a lot better also i would recommend not having those huge grey pillars on the side, they look a bit odd so i would say to make them thinner. :moyai:

Windows are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too bright, someone must have turned discord light mode on. Good build, very repetitive and boring though. Check out blender, it’s really impossible to build low poly without it.

Thanks for the feedback.

thats not true. The potential of low poly on studio is very high.

Much lower compared to blender, if you’re going to soley use studio then do mid poly building.

Low poly is my specialty. Doesnt mean im on one app i have to do that one certain thing just because its optimized

Alright, just saying that from experience studio low poly is a dead end.
