Feedback and suggestions on my first blender gun

I would like any feedback on things I could improve on my gun(made in blender 2.9) thanks.

at the moment it looks really clunky and the look is just not appealing to the eye. I don’t know if this was intentional or what, but overall good.

I’d suggest looking into auto-smooth + marking sharps for giving it cleaner edges.

I think it’s actually quite good for something you’ve done for the first time, something you could do to improve it is making edges a bit smoother? Apart from that it’s really good!

This looks good in all, but the auto smoothing in the brown areas really needs to be dialed down to where you’re able to see the edges

As your first gun, it’s quite good. However, that being said, the mesh you’ve created in Blender does look a bit polygonal (it looks very edgy I guess you could say). What I suggest is that you put reference images in Blender behind your model so that when you create it you can accurately shape the shape of the gun. If you already do this, I suggest increasing the polygon count to ensure the mesh doesn’t look too simple.
