Hello, I recently created this bank lobby and I feel like it turned out pretty well. However, I want your brutal critiques, as I am always trying to improve. If I feel like it’s good, I need to move on to the next level and learn some new techniques. Any tips or feedback are greatly appreciated!
Carpets are too elevated off the ground. Something is just off in terms of the colors… I feel like the wall and ceiling clash with each other. The line poles look too big. Seems kinda bland…
Good build though!
Thank you so much for your feedback! The coloring was definitely something I kept revisiting, as I didn’t like how it was looking. I’ll definitely go back and experiment with some more vibrant colors to brighten up the build. Thank you again!
Feedback for fixes
- The chandeliers’ candles are disproportionate, they seem to be extra thin
- The ceiling’s choice of colours do not work well, especially the blue
- The fences’ railing are extremely thick, also the poles seems to be easily tipped over; lacks a base
- What is that metallic part on the right-hand side in the second screenshot?
Suggestions
- If I were to walk into this lobby, I would have sore legs while waiting in line
- No security, hurray… Wait, that’s not right. We should install CCTV
- Variation of lighting, perhaps lamps
Looks amazing!
I reccomend though that you move the carpet to where the line is, as it looks pretty wonky and uneven when you just leave it there in the middle.
The bank lobby, in my opinion has a great design though my suggestion is that you change the green carpet to red to look more formal because the furniture and apperances of banks look formal. Also make increase the width in the space of your bank because to be honest it looks small.
Make your chandeliers also a little bit bigger with a golden texture to match the furniture’s formality.
You really did a great job in the interior but I suggest you make small changes.
Looks amazing! The only feedback I can give you is maybe try to make the ceiling a bit darker (the green area).
