Feedback Needed! (Horror Game)

Hey there!

Name’s Crasher!

I don’t usually make Posts quite like this one, but I really need the help… So allow me to jump straight to the point!

Sooo… I made a mockup idea for this game a long time ago, called “Stop Knocking!”
And I remember thinking it was an interesting idea…

So I decided to recreate it with a more realistic approach. The game is literally nowhere near complete so don’t judge me for the crappy look and feel.

All I’m asking for, is that a few preferably established developers try and test the game out, whilst creating an opinion that can help me maybe make this a legitimate game.

I want opinions from people I don’t personally know, and who understand game design.

Here’s the game: Stop Knocking! (Testing) - Roblox

!!!BE WARNED!!!
This game is on a whole new level of Early Access, as I am a solo developer / beginner developer.

P.S

  • If the game isn’t well received by you all then I’ll probably stop working on it.
  • The reason I started working on this project to begin with, was because the idea was simple and felt relatively easy to make.
  • I’m wanting information on what you think the game needs OR could use.
  • Any ideas that would give the game more Immersion would be nice as well.

I spent some time waiting for something to happen, I walked around the map a bit. All that happened was an NPC knocking on the door and standing still, disappearing when I turned off the light. I don’t understand if there’s any objective yet.

The atmosphere is fine for an horror game in my opinion, you just need to create more clear goals/threats to the player.

Thanks for responding.

I didn’t intend on adding too much. I just wanted to know if the feel was good. And if the players imagination gets sparked with ideas on what the game could be, whenever they played it.

If you can, could you provide more feedback on what you think the games needs. I’ll be sure to make more of an Idea for the game, and develop a clearer goal.

What you just played was a test build to see if I could think of any ideas to push the game further on, once I laid down the groundwork.

Once again, thanks for responding! It means a lot
