Hello, I am new to developing ( Started: January 2022 ) and this has been a project I have been working on for the past few months. Now, I have made 3 community posts in the past asking for feedback and I think today is the day that I am most confident!

Neat looking game but it’s let down by the environment and modeling. Honestly, at first, I thought this was just the lobby, and it’d teleport to actual battlegrounds, but was underwhelmed to find out this is it. The map really doesn’t play itself to being a combat experience, there’s no tactical layout, the only true obstacles are the buildings and there’s no chokepoints or clear central area to congregate.
Being able to swim under the majority of the map makes combat unimpressively balanced to ranged weaponry fired from below, your only cover as a melee weapon user would be the buildings (which don’t belong on a battlefield imo)
I only tried the slingshot (idling for the higher tier ranged weaponry took too long), and it damages the person wielding it, so walking or swimming while firing just hurts yourself.
The layout of gamepasses is a bit silly, 10 R$ = $100 only saves you 30 seconds of standing still on top of a coin, since the coin awards $10 and seems to appear every 3 seconds even if you’re standing on it.
You have a finite number of things to purchase and your largest robux conversion gamepass awards over the amount required to own everything, so there’s really no point in buying it.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I am very sorry that your experience did not go as planned. Please note, my staff team and I are very new to developing as we started in January, but this feedback grows the Rising of War community! Thank you so much for playing, and I hope we can improve your experience in the future!
How to play the game:
Simply run around, collecting coins to purchase weapons to fight with other players! (please note the experience is mainly meant for 2+ people, so please consider inviting friends for the best possible time!)

I personally found the game random and there’s no goal to the game, as well as the signs that and it has way too many free models from the creator marketplace. I didn’t enjoy it. I hope you take this reply as to learn from your mistakes and not meant to bring you down.
also,
Our approach on creator marketplace models isn’t the worst. The only models on there that I recall using are the Donation board, sign, tents, and the Roblox logo on the founders island. The rest of the models are 100% original content from our modelers
Almost none of the UI or icons match, it makes it look like its been grabbed out of the toolbox, and some of UI wasn’t scaled properly and overlapped other UI elements.
Coins look good, but there’s no feedback when you collect them, they just disappear. I would suggest adding a particle effect and possibly a sound effect when you collect a coin, to make it more fun to collect coins.
I also noticed that there were some assets that looked like they’d been grabbed out of the toolbox, nothing wrong with that, but when you do it too much it can start to look bad. For example the signs, I’m sure I’ve seen like 50 of those in the toolbox and the text looks a bit crammed.
I noticed you had a list/display of the supporters, but it might interrupt the game-play since it’s on the map, I would suggest putting a teleport plate and probably some text that says “Supporters” or something along the lines of that, that way it looks less cluttered.
To sum all of this up for the people that don’t want to read all this:
Although the wind, gui and the previous other models mentioned aren’t our work. I can assure you the rest is our work. There are only 8 assets in the game that aren’t ours.
Hello! Thank you so much for the feedback! I do agree, the list of supporters did feel a bit crammed but without them the spawn would look bad. Yes, we use a few assets from the toolbox, and we are currently working on improving our modeling skills! I do also see what you think regarding the UI. Thank you so much for your feedback, and I hope we can see you back! ( If you have any questions or just would like to stay informed of the game’s progress please join our group here!) Thanks! Have a great day!
