Feedback needed on music-synced lighting and effects

Hey, recently I have been working on my new game called The Vibe House and I have created a unique lighting system with effects such as colour correction, blur, bloom etc. I would like to know any positives / negatives about it and how u think I could improve :slight_smile: thanks in advance.

I know this was sent 14 days ago, but I just saw this and wanted to help out -

I like the concept of syncing visuals to music a lot, but I personally find the blur/zoom effect to be too much. It kinda makes me dizzy. I personally would like to see you try to sync the colors on the outlines of the house if you can, that might give you the same vibe you are looking for.

Also, I see that you took effort into differentiating between the size of the effects based off the beat of the song, but it seems like there are some instances that the effect is big when the beat that accompanies it is small/nonexistent.

I understand what you mean, some people might find it nauseating, I have put a warning before you play the game for epileptic people etc.

This is inevitable, the way I scripted it decides how strong the effects are based on the current volume as a percentage of the highest volume that has been reached. I couldn’t think of a better and more reliable way to script it :frowning:

See it’s cool but the problem is that it has a lot of blur Ik I’m replying late you probably have it fixed now.
