Heyo!
I’ve quit ROBLOX for approximately 6 months but couldn’t resist, so I came back, and decided to take an interest in UI scripting. I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on my UI.
Everything I make is created in Photoshop with either brushes or symbols.
Very nice UI overhall, In the last picture you sent It hink the [USERNAME] text is a bit too big and the Raiders text size does not match the one near it. Overhall nice UI.
Thank you! I used a simple imageLabel for the characters. The entire image was created in Photoshop so it was just a matter of getting the right resolution.
just thought with a viewport you can actually animate those characters within the UI; however, it’s totally your choice and they still look great without
I think it looks great, and the only thing I would point out is some of the font sizes - though you have already mentioned you are going to fix it, so I think it looks great apart from that minor thing.
The UI, you have made looks very decent like all the different colors and details you added to each of them. I think it looks really good, however the Raiders text and. Number looks a little big then the other one besides it!!
The designs here are very clean cut, I like the usage of renders, the second UI isn’t terrible, however it doesn’t seem to have a place to place the odds of winning, which are now required by roblox.
Love your UI sm! The style seems very unique to you, and in general tbh!
Its nice and smooth and easy on the eyes.
The second one is really amazing! I like how you went with a different approach opposed to using the Roblox GUI making system (sorry Roblox but his looks really good lol).
In the first image, whenever ou hover over the image, it tweens larger on all sides and the other two tween smaller. Also perhaps having the a character render tween large would add a nice touch
That’s a pretty good idea!
I plan on remaking that UI in a bit, so I’ll be sure to use the viewports as suggested, along with your idea of tweening. I think it’ll turn out great.
I feel that the first UI is absolutely amazing. I really do love it.
The second, on the other hand, feels a bit unbalanced. I like the color choice, it brings out the text and has a good contrast. I also feel the font is appealing and fitting, but I personally dislike the “x” button. It looks basic, maybe find a way to make it slightly more integrated in your theme.
Also, I would suggest you make this shorter, it looks unbalanced because of the text being put so far to the left. I would shorten it slightly, but overall, it looks good.
First of all, thanks for the compliments on my first UI.
Second, I agree 100% with you about the “X”, but at the time I didn’t feel like giving it a brushed background like the other parts of the UI, no idea why. I’ll try and figure something out because it indeed is not as fitting.
As for the prize tag, I did do that on purpose because I wanted to avoid a square-shaped look on the brush. I felt like if I stretched it out a bit, it would look more appealing. I understand why you’d think it looks unbalanced, and perhaps it is just a tiny bit too long!
This UI is very detailed, amazing work. The one and ONLY thing you should improve is on the second reference (Image 2) maybe instead of keeping it black, maybe go from reference 1 (Image 1) and use the same design on reference 2.
