Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a new game, its a detective/crime game and I’ve created an icon that I plan to use for it on the Roblox platform. I’d really appreciate any feedback on it, whether it’s about the composition, colors, clarity, or how well it communicates the theme of the game

Here’s the icon:

A few questions I have:

  • Does it catch your attention at smaller sizes (like on the mobile app)?

  • Do you think it reflects the genre and feel of the game?

  • Is anything unclear, confusing, or visually distracting?

Any suggestions for improvement are more than welcome. Thanks in advance!

I’m a dark-mode player, and honestly, it kind of blends into my Roblox page, especially with the darker colours.

The Icon’s great, reflects the game well. It just needs that sort of ‘POP’ that you’d want when looking for the game in your continue menu, y’know?

But that’s my personal opinion as someone who keeps my phone on dark mode 24/7, and gets blinded by the white background of Google searches at the middle of the night, lol.

hey thanks for pointing that out! totally makes sense that the icon could get lost on darker backgrounds haha, ill try adding some contrast or maybe a subtle glow to help it stand out better. really appreciate the feedback!

The second I scrolled down my eyes locked onto it! It’s perfect!!

The brightness there fits perfectly in with the dark background, with a lot of contrast between providing better visibility.
I can easily picture the icon capturing my attention when looking for a recent game to play. Nice work! c:

the second option appears significantly better. you might consider utilizing ChatGPT or Recraft to create some variations and enhance it further.

I’d avoid doing that.
Even if it looks better at first glance, a lot of people tend to feel discouraged or skeptical when they see an AI icon.

This game icon looks good! Nice job on it! How long did it take to make? I recommend making the head more visible in the icon, it will stand out more and be better.

that makes sense, but it can be more productive to create a few mockups or drafts to build upon later. wish you all the best with the game!

thanks! it took me like 1 hour to make, ill keep that in mind and make the head bigger tomorrow since i have to go to sleep now
