Made this simple metal fireplace. I’m trying to achieve a log cabin style.
What should I change? Let me know.
Looks Good keep up the good work!
It looks good I love the color and I think it’s going to be good with a cabin.
Nice and realistic i love it!
Good work
Your wood burner looks very impressive. Well done to you. This is great work.
This looks amazing! Great work that.
I think it looks perfect for a log cabin!
I would consider adding a small pile of wood on the floor next to it, or in a basket or something. I would also consider adding an object or two (maybe a fire poker?) sitting on top of the fireplace to give it that lived in feeling.
Looks fantastic, love the realism and detail put into the build. Great job!
Thank you for the feedback! I’ll surely add some details to it.
The fireplace looks insane! Very realistic.
First of all, your fireplace looks astounding! There is put immensurable work in it!
- I can see that you put a lot of work into your fireplace, I like that!
- The best of all, in my opinion, are the details it looks astounding
- The fire looks extremely realistic, if you would sell it I would buy it.
- It would fit in a log cabin as @Hazania mentioned.
That’s it! I wouldn’t change anything, It looks just perfect in my opinion.
Good Work!
your feedback is so hearthwarming!
I think it looks great for a modern fireplace, but a wood burning stove would be more “cabin-like”.
I believe if you want it to look more rustic or antique, you should take off the clear doors and make a metal grate with a large handle that you pull open on a hinge.
That is how most of them that I have seen operate and you will still see the flames through the grate.
I think a fireplace would look better in a cabin with bricks around it and a woodburning stove looks more natural.
Regardless, the detail looks really good.
This is a really cool build. One of the things I would recommend is that if you have any unions, set the render fidelity to automatic. If your cabin isn’t big then the fireplace would still render properly from across the room but with the added effect of enhancing the performance of the union.
