Feedback on Character Model

Hello! I made a character model for fun, I might plan on making these for people in the future. But what are you thoughts?

  • Great!
  • Good.
  • Could use some work.
  • Bad.
  • Really bad.

I like it! Maybe improve the face a bit, looks bland.

Thank you! I am probably going to make an ammo belt and a gun for the player.

Well, it would be helpful if you could go into detail of what the character is about!

Okay, well this is more of a passion project, but I was thinking of making a RPG game using these characters. This guy would be the default character. There would be a girl option too.

You might want to add more detail, right now he’s looking a bit bland.

The face is little bit dim. I would use darker and stronger colours for the face.

What should I add? A backpack? I am kinda stuck

A backpack would be nice, how about more like detail on his body as well. His torso.

Okay I added a backpack how does it look?

Does no straps look better?

I don’t know why, but this is giving me Adventure Time vibes. Perhaps you could use that as inspiration for this model and add some detail from it.

I kind of don’t want it to look like that. I want it to like kind of unique.

With straps is better imo. Looks good

Sorry I didn’t respond in a while, my internet went down, it looks great!

Here’s an example that I built.

Looking good! Reminds me a bit of Steve haha
I’m not sure if it’s the lighting but the facial features (eyes, brows, hair) aren’t looking very distinctive from each other and the shirt is popping a tad bit too much. Maybe you could try using darker colors or mess around with hues and saturations a bit. GLHF!

I was going for more rounder characters. Not built in studio and stuff. But I like those. they look nice.
