Hello! I’m thinking about getting into clothing designing, but I’m not exactly sure where to start lol. Anyway, this is my first one, not too happy with it but yeah, I’ll get there hopefully!
What do I need to improve on? Any tips for a beginner?

This is your first?!!?? It looks amazing! The only feedback I have is maybe work on the rounded neck area.

I like the curves and the pixel design is flowing it is visible you put good work into it, although the torso sides straps does not really match the coloring on the torso front (I guess because of lighting). Another point to consider is the doodles on the right arm, they look like they were drawn too randomly in opposing to the torso doodles that seem faded and consistent.
Over-all good work. Keep at it.

aaand that’s where my problem comes in lol. I’m not satisfied with how it looks on the character
Yeah. I worked on the torso pattern a day before the arm pattern, and I couldn’t get the color right. Thank you!
