Feedback on Game UI

Hey Guys, I’ve just recently started developing a medieval-themed game and wanted some opinions on how the current workshop of our game looks, because of my budget, I had to handle the UI design myself which I’m like a 5/10. Fortunately I think I got this one right so if you could share your thoughts on it, that would be nice.

I think it looks great. Maybe the workshop text could be on the left instead of the middle, and there is a lot of space in the middle, but yeah. I love the border and the consistent use of font.

This game UI looks awesome! I like the wooden-themed style of the background, and the text font! How long did it take to make this UI? I rate it 9/10!

took me around 2-3 hours to get the right design, made it in studio

Hey! I love the style you were going for. I would reccomend increasing the padding of the “Workshop” text & bring it down a bit. Also flip the gradient so that the orange is on the bottom & the white is on the top. Maybe make the text bigger too to make it stand out.

Moving onto the Item Templates, I would reccomend making them bigger so they will be easier to click & to remove that empty space on the sides. Move the “Broken Sword” text a little bit up so it fits inside the Item Template & isn’t hanging off.

For the close button, I would reccomend enclosing it in a rectangle/frame instead of just leaving it as the icon. Make sure to make the frame red & make the icon white so it isn’t red & blending in.

Thanks for the advice I’ll look into the changes you suggested

It looks very nice but I’d recommend adding a UI stroke instead of one built into the image, I would also recommend adding more easier colors. Here’s my UI for example, I think this style would fit into your game’s “medieval” style if you adjusted it a little.

I think this UI is awesome but could use some tweaks, good luck on your game!
Edit: I also think it would be better if you changed the background to something like wood or wooden planks, or a screenshot from the actual workshop building.
