I think it looks great! But it’s bright in my opinion, maybe turn it down a notch

which one? or are you talking about both of them in general?

Well I think the pink one, the red one is fine

The hotpink is really cool, but I’m just unsure about the 2nd light, it just doesn’t really fit to be honest.

Really looks nice and creative. Bit to bright but that’s pretty much it. Nice work!

The 2nd one looks the best in my opinion because it really gives off a 50s cafe vibe.

Hello!

When it comes to lighting, it should be able to represent the atmosphere your game tries to make you feel (e.g. a Horror game would be darker with fewer lights to give the player a frightening vibe).

From what I see here (according to your design), you’re going for something futuristic. Any light, neon colours would do the job; however, out of these two images the second picture’s lighting truly brings the building to life. Whereas in the first picture, the purple makes it plain, and a bit boring.

Another feedback I’d suggest is probably adding some neon parts in the corners of the walls some more neon outline in order to hide the shadows.

Example:

(Sorry for the low quality my Gyazo is broken, therefore was forced to use snipping-tool).

As you can see, these shadows possibly lower the building’s quality. Try adding more outline and see how that turns out.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disagree on you with that. Sci-fi, futuristic, or even bright (and sometimes low poly) cafes/bakeries… are extremely bright, however, due to many games already being bright the eye of most players would already have been used to it.

However, in order for your game to succeed, an advanced brightness setting should be implemented in order to make the environment easy to adapt to everyone.

Other than that your game’s lighting looks great so far and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
