Feedback on models I tried creating for the first time?

Recently, I created a house which was my first time creating a model. But now, I created three things: old-style television, a flashlight, and a laptop! :smiley:

It was my first time creating these three things so I’m sorry if they do not give off the best image, but I tried! :+1:

I used a reference to create this by searching for one on Google, so I tried to replicate it. I know TVs don’t have a blue button :large_blue_circle: but I just thought it would look cool. :slight_smile:

I was pretty clueless on how to create a hole inside. After searching on another post, I finally got it and unioned it! I have a feeling I made the flashlight a bit too thick though. :joy:

I didn’t feel too confident in creating this one because of the keys not looking how I wanted it to be :confused: … Eventually, I liked it now!

I had some issues creating 1/3 of these things because I have never done these kinds of models before, but I hope you guys can give me some feedback! :+1:

the TV looks the best. But the other 2… The flashlight looks like a tube thing to me at first. The laptop keyboard is to thicc.(so does the screen) Anyway, nice job creating the models!

The flashlight needs more detail, it just looks like a yellow tube with buttons on it!

You’re welcome, just try adding more detail to the objects your create. I often find that adding smaller details to builds helps a lot. If you have the chance, let me know how it looks after!

Not bad for a beginner at modelling! The only things I suggest are to add some more detail, as well as more angles/curves (i.e. make the builds less blocky). Other than that, keep up the great work friend! :slight_smile:

I would just use a 3D modeling software but for these, they look really good! I think the flashlight should come out a bit on the top though. I think that the laptop is a bit too thick. Great job on first time models though.

I personally love your work. The TV model is very cool, but I have some feedbacks about the other ones.

  • For the flashlight, I recommend adding more details.
  • For the laptop, maybe make it a big smaller.

Other than that, you did an amazing job! :slight_smile:

Great job, I really like these.
In my opinion, the television is the best out of them.

Like others have pointed out, I recommend adding some more detail to the flashlight.
About the laptop, I think you should do the following:

  • Make the bottom part less thick
  • Add something between the screen and the bottom part

The laptop is kinda like for minecraft tho, but its gud for your first try!
