Hello! I made a GFX and would like feedback on it. This is my 3rd-ever GFX and would love to know your feedback. Constructive criticism is appreciated too of course!
Looks really good, but you should probably put a water mark before posting.
I did not distribute or sell anyone this GFX. This was created just for feedback and to know how I can improve within GFX skills. In other words, I don’t mind anyone taking this GFX as this was not given or used in games/property.
It’s super GFX, it’s just that you should make a signature on this artwork so someone doesn’t steal it. Good luck .
Thanks for the feedback! I did however put a sign of my name but nothing is affecting me if someone steals it. I want everyone to take a better on clear view to really see the GFX.
The problem that I see about this is that someone might take the work and claim it as there own, this can cause more problems as people may think you stole someone else’s work.
Good point. Don’t know why I haven’t realized or thought about that. I’ll start putting watermarks on my GFXs on whether if it’s only for showcase or not.
Very good, I would say subdivide your plade to make it more bumpy and realistic, you can use the sculpting tool for this. I would also try to blend the floor and background more, as you can’t see the bottom of the trees, also, do you use a rig?
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, I did use a rig. I will make sure in future projects to follow your tips.
If you use a rig, you should animate it more, as if I were standing I would not look like a stick.
Nice work on the graphic! I do have to suggest that you put your signature somewhere else, like at a certain transparency and more towards a object that gets your eyes attention, the big purple text does look a little un-professional to me but this graphic is very good other than that. I really do like the scenery and avatar. It fits very well, good job on the work!
I don’t really understand on what you mean by. Can you give me an image example of what you’re referencing? That would help a lot and would give me an idea on what to improve.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the signature doesn’t really fit in the picture. I will try to improve on that to make it look nice to the eye!
In blender, if you go into pose mode you can pose it m, for example you can retract the arms, or retract the legs.
I do know that. I just didn’t understand what you mean by a good standing pose. I just need a reference picture to what you’re trying to clarify, thanks.
A nice beginning. There’s not much I’d change about it. Other than the fact you’re using an R6 rig… I personally suggest using an R15 rig, makes the character’s limbs look more fluid and natural than literal lego. With R6 you have more limited movement but with some camera work you can move the limbs in more unnatural ways in order to make something look more right and with the camera placement being correct, nobody’s going to be the wiser. Nobody will know that the arm is detached, etc…
Using a different rig standard is up to you. I just prefer R15 over R6. Some like the more classic feel to it but I wouldn’t use it in GFX. That’s just my personal opinion.
Learn about visual effects too, dust, blurs, they all add to the aesthetic and can greatly improve the looks of your GFX elevating it to produce unthinkable results when utilized properly.
woahhh. keep up the good work!!
Hi Deltact,
Thank you for your suggestion and feedback! I appreciate it a lot. I’m not using any R6 model, this is however a roblox blender rig. Sorry for the confusion. if you look closely, you can see arm bends that R6 can’t do. If you mean rigs, I don’t think “R6, R15” rigs exist, unless you mean the models which I’m certainly not using.
I’m also practicing on effects within photoshop and on my future projects, I’ll definitely start using them as I get far from my experience.
Other than that, I very much gladly appreciate your suggestions and feedback.
it looks super good except the hdri and the ground don’t fit in also there’s a weird point in the right side 5/10
This is pretty nice, although I don’t think the avatar matches the setting of the GFX.
