Looks great! Something I would suggest is either make the island smaller or make a more bumpy/hilly terrain because there is a lot of open space as well as adding more trees! 
Ok first, the helicopter is a free model. Second, is this even an island? When I think of an island, I think of densely populated vegetation, sandy beached, large plants, in this case overgrown buildings. I don’t know what style island this is, because I just gave a bunch of ideas for tropical islands, but if this is indeed a tropical island make it look more tropical, add some terrain detail and change the trees to palm trees. Every detail counts and the more there are the better it’ll look. I hope you found this helpful, if I happened to speak some constructive criticism please just ignore my saltiness.

It looks good but I wouldn’t call this an ‘abandoned island’. I think that the wood looks extremely clean or new for it to resemble an abandoned island. Perhaps add some textures, or change the material/color.
If you read the post, you would know that.

Ah yes, more hill terrain, do you think it should be very elevated, or just a bit high?
I wouldn’t really see this as an island. It honestly just looks like a grass field with some trees scattered around a lonely house. I see an abandoned island as a place filled with hundreds of tall and huge trees that are covered in vines and bushes found everywhere within the forest.
So, I suggest that you put more detail onto the trees and increase the quantity of it. Add some other minor details like a small wooden boat at the seashore to make the island have more of a “story” to it.
The Island isn’t so much of an island without water unless you were thinking more of a floating island idea? I suggest adding more plants, trees, bushes, maybe some cool vines. When something has been abandon it is left in the hands of nature to recreate it, If you plan on having more buildings I would make trees grow through it and have moss and plants grow inside. Another thing to add some spice to this base-plate is some terrain editing, maybe have some hills or caves and paint down some dirt material to add the abandon feeling of being worn down. Hope my words can help and I Would love to see how you plan to mix things up!
just looks like flat terrain, grass, a couple trees, and that FM helicopter. 
This is a great start to your island, for feedback I suggest a lot of more trees and I’m pretty sure you are going to do that, also probably add like a beach sort of and palm trees, and rocks, fallen logs, animals, mud, caves, rivers, and try not to use simple trees like spheres. This is a good start! Keep up the work!

Of course, I have some negatives…
- The island is to flat, and there’s no water surrounding it.
- There’s a lack of vegatation. (ex. plants, flowers, tree’s.)
- The structures, I’m not sure if this is what you wanted, but the heli and the building don’t fit in together that well.

The island is small and awesome, but it looks empty. You need to add some trees or huts to make the island more awesome.
Yeah I think that’s a great Idea! it would give some different variety’s and make things look a little more interesting.
