Feedback on my (currently unfinished) game

Hello, I’ve been working on a side project in the form of a Roblox game called “Attack of the Killbots.”
It’s a wave survival based on one free model that I fixed up and modified. There are currently four maps each with 10 waves and a boss. I made a placeholder shop very recently with a few different weapons to try out.

Attack of the Killbots is very far from finished, the lobby is even still a baseplate, but I have a feeling it’s going in a good direction. I’d like some feedback and constructive criticism on how to make it better.

Feel free to be honest, it’s still very janky so let me know if you spot any bugs or if there’s anything you would like to see added. Thanks!

I love the retro roblox aesthetic of the game, makes oldheads like me feel like a kid again. Between the studs, trussparts, messages at the top of the screen, and level geometry - it sent me back almost a decade.

First map I loaded into was airforcebase, got bloxxed immidiately. The next map was better, but being solo I only made it to round three before falling to a bomb.

The concept as a whole is great, however I constantly found myself with near nowhere to go, some of the maps are a little cramped. Also, playing solo, I was unable to specifically choose an easier map and had to wait for RNG to cycle me around. There was also a consistant beeping from the killbots that I did not find out the reason for. I would suggest a map vote system and difficulty system based off of the number of players in the server.

All that said, I did enjoy it, and I think there’s a really solid idea here. I may be biased as I have a soft spot for these types of throwbacks haha. I wish you the best going forward on your project.

Thank you for giving the game a shot, I’m really sorry about how the first map you loaded into was the hardest one in the game. I’ll try to add a voting system as well as a difficulty system.

The killbots beeping was because they beep a couple times when they die. It sounded like a cool idea on paper, but I can agree that it’s a bit annoying. I’ll have to change it up and make them do something else when they die.

One last thing, here’s a tip for if you ever play the game in the future: Try firing into a crowd of killbots to cause a chain reaction. They explode when they die.

Thank you for trying out my game, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
