Feedback on my Duck parkour game!

Hey! People seem to be liking my game a lot, but unsure what else I need to push it over the top? It’s making money, but I put it all back into advertising, but I feel like I’m stuck in this cycle of just barely growing week to week.

I can’t tell if it’s just people went back to school? It’s my game? I need more content? A new mechanic? Something else?

All my constant updates seem to barely move the needle, and it’s hard to tell what will actually grow the game?

Thanks for your help!

The games really good and I can tell you spent a while on this. Younger me would have loved this but I will put a few criticisms and advice below.

Firstly, the game is succesfull as it is good, replayable and has a good structure. Its good to see a developer take time to build the foundation for their game rather than just placing bricks randomly.

I think when you begin and get the intoruduction for the plot their should be a skip option as I was personally fighting the urge in my body to press leave. With this there could also be a little Objective tab so you are aware what you are doing.

This appeals really well to a younger audience - well done, although I must say the younger generations have a ‘cooked attention span’ and all the GUIs are a lot to push through when they typically just want to play the game.

Its a nice game with many aspects but possibly too many? This could explain all the GUIs which are needed at the start. We are seeing a shift to simpler games, or at least games which start of simple, and the more you get pulled in the more complex it gets. Too me it kinda felt I was shoved into the deep end of a pool and told to ‘flap by myself’.

Overall, the game is great and has an amazing concept and play on the currently trending games. Yes everyone going back to school will affect the numbers but I think it might have a lot of different things to do. Its a well structured and well made game on the right path, and it has a lot of potential.

Thank you! This means a lot!

I will indeed add that skip button!

I did want to keep the game as simple as possible, but the more and more I got into progression systems it just sorta spiraled I guess?

There’s also a Find the Ducks game already fully established, and I didn’t want to be seen as that game either. It’s been quite a journey!

Thank you so much for this!
