Hi! I have been trying to learn building for a couple days and I managed to make my first ever house, this did not take too long as it is a small house but I wanted to ask you guys how good did I do on this build.

(I know the date on the sign says 3 days ago but I could not chat on the devforum)

I used F3X to make this and I used a reference image. Please give me some tips if you have any :sweat_smile:

Neat! I would just make the roof overlap the walls a bit though! Keep up the good work!

Also does anyone know what I should try building next? I’ve built enough houses and I think I should move on to other things but I just don’t know what else to build

This is pretty good for your first build.

Suggestions:

  • Make the blue in the windows a brighter color
  • Color the roof, stairs, and the bottom part of the building
  • Use textures/materials on the building so it doesn’t look as plain.

This looks great for your first work! But I think you should make a lighter shade of windows color

Looks amazing for your first build.
A few tips though:

  1. You can play around with materials and textures.
  2. Try making the window a slightly lighter colour or make the material of the window force field.

Pretty decent and unique, you should make the roof a bit bigger, the windows brighter and that should be it. Haven’t seen anything like this.

A good first attempt; now what I would do is work on more shaping of your next build such as separate tiles for the roof, bricks for the walls, etc.

Use google images for inspiration. A great way to learn is by mimicking low poly builds to start with, as they tend to be fairly simple to produce but also look stylish.
