Feedback on my first-ever soundtrack for my upcoming game

Hi there! Recently, I have begun to learn and practice the use of instruments and what-not in a music-making application. At one point, I felt like I was ready enough to apply some of my skills to my game, so I have made the following 2 songs for my game’s OST. Me being a UI designer also means I have redone my game’s icon and even made an album cover for it.

I would like to note that I will be making more once time allows.

Album cover:

cool name I know :sunglasses:

Songs:

Dunes

Description

This song was made with the vibe of you walking across an endless landscape, finding new things as you venture. I tried to use as few instruments as I could in order to maintain a level of chill. As the song progresses, it gathers more intensity as you begin to find exciting clues and mysteries, but only to fade away as you walk back into the sand dunes. The title was also based on the first level of where you start off at, Dunes.

In the Depths

Description

As intended, the point of this song was to be action-packed and keeping the sense of “danger approaching”, which it was very successful at. It is a major contrast to the calm vibes of Dunes, as you dive into the depths of the Earth and find new enemies and dungeons to battle in.

I would love to hear your thoughts on what I can improve, fix, or perhaps redo. This is my first time creating music and I feel like there is plenty more to learn.

‘Dunes’ Sounds like Pigstep but I really like ‘In the Depths’.

Question, What software do you use to make these tracks?

Overall Amazing Tracks. :+1:

GarageBand, not all that complicated. It comes installed in (I think) all Apple computers.

Oh, I thought you used FL Studio.
