Game: Space Simulator X
I’ve previously made a post about having a low D1 retention, that has been fixed.
I’ve now come here to ask if any of you are willing to try our game out and provide some feedback. The current issue is that players receive our game well, but the only source of acquisition for these players have been through sponsored ads, friends, and search. Roblox has not yet recommended our game to a large audience, and they may never, who knows… Regardless, the players we acquire come back quite often throughout the week, which is good to see.
Anyway, maybe there is something I’m not seeing that is impacting the discovery engine from noticing the game. But I really doubt it because every stat (besides D1 retention previously) is within range, some of them exceeding the benchmarks.
Hi! I’ve played your game and I must say that it has great quality, just as great as other popular simulator games on the front page.
The game was pretty fun at the beginning, gets slower by each area, but I had to quit at Earth 4 because the I’ve noticed that the progress was too slow, way too slow compared to previous areas, so I’m assuming the next areas and planets must be so frustrating. Maybe checking other simulators will help you find out the optimal progression speed for your game.
aside from it being just another simulator slop, i say the game is pretty good
i see your techniques though
it is incredibly satisfying to watch the space coins (The purple coins) come in packs fast and smooth everytime, this will very much keep people playing
but the actual in-game currency are the gems, which are not as common as space coins
it’s a nice execution, give players dopamine but still force them to grind, goes very well
if this is your first game, then i’m the worst game developer of all time
it’s not something i would play in the long term since i don’t play simulators at all, but it’s a good game
Thanks for the feedback, I should mention that this project took around 10 months of development, most of it was spent learning. It may be high quality for a first game but the tradeoff here was time, a lot of it.
