Feedback on my first Roblox game with script

I have a new game which I have been working on and I was wondering If anybody could give me some feedback on it and help me try and make it better since this is my first Roblox game with scripting in it.

Here is the game The no life SpeedRun obby - Roblox](The no life SpeedRun obby - Roblox)

I would really appreciate some Feedback Thank you.

Also I think I put this in the wrong category.

I suggest have different level as themes with checkpoints like Speed Run 4.

DO NOT HAVE KILL PARTS. I personally do not like the idea of kill parts unless there is a different ā€˜gamemode’ for it.

Have all the parts CanColide On. I do not want to fall because I choose the wrong part to go on.

Make the parts more apart. Don’t have them too close to eachother.

Don’t worry you did not.

Also about your game, the lobby seems nice. But through the running course it’s just floating platforms. Try to make an enviroment.

Thank you I will try and do that later today.

Ok that seems like a good idea thank you.

Nice idea to have it all at once, no second chances. Provides a higher difficulty.

I would say to not have the non-collision parts - they just act as an annoyance if you die to one and have to restart again.
Other than that, it seems like a pretty good game!

I tried it out and its pretty fun. Perhaps to make it more challenging you can have players unable to stop running. Other than that its a pretty good game!

Thanks on the feedback I’ll try and put it into the game.

I think it’s pretty good! however, I could see this game being VASTLY improved if you implemented some of the following:

  1. I can tell you have building skills from the lobby, The lobby was indeed quite nice (aside from the z-fighting, might want to fix that). This game would greatly improve if you had some really nicely built stages .
  2. I think it would be cool if you had different ā€œzonesā€. Each zone could be themed differently, and I think it would be nice if there was a checkpoint for each zone.
  3. This is just an idea, but you could make a little donate button where people could donate small amounts of robux. Up to you!
    Good luck!

Thanks I’ll try and put some of those ideas into my game, but however the point of my game is that you have only 1 life so unless the difficulty really increases then I will add checkpoints.

I’m not exactly sure how I can make an environment since I am not a builder could you give an example as to how it could look?

Just tried out the game. At first thought I saw too much open space. Therefore, you could make the map itself less vast and add some other minor features to its environment in order to make it more appealing. The obby itself is quite engaging. However, I don’t think the yellow neon parts match it’s surroundings.

Apart from that, everything else seems fine :+1:

Thanks for the feedback that really helps :+1: But how am I supposed to make less open space when the obby is in the air? Could you tell me what I could do that would be nice thanks.

Maybe it’s just a personal preference, but a little environment around it such as trees, some decorations etc would make it stand out.

Are you saying this could be better for the lobby/spawn place or the actual obby itself?

The obby itself, it could be something to make the game itself a little more engaging.

Yes I see what you mean I’ll try working on it but I am taking a break from developing for a day.

Also is there a specific type of build you want me to work with? If so please let me know.

No of course not, it’s your build, you can do whatever you like to it.

Ok thanks for the feedback it really helps!
