Feedback on my FPS game Infernal Battles

For over a month i’ve been working on this FPS game, and id like some feedback on the game

  • UI needs a lot of work / doesn’t match the theme and isn’t consistent
  • Movement is just stock roblox / try add something unique and make it more satisfying
  • guns are basic / bad models / no visuals / aren’t satisfying
  • needs more animations

Models are bad, seem way too minecraft-y

UI needs fixing, the coloring and posiitoning is bad

The animations are just stock and dont fit’

The recoil ruins the experience and the hitmarkers hardly work

Yeah, ill start improving the movement as soon as possible. i’ll add some camera shake too

Yes ill fix the recoil, i think the hitmarkers are fine tho wdym

A shot to the head from a “shotgun” shouldnt do 50 damage

Overall, it actually is semi-enjoyable, I thought the registration was consistent , map generation and renders were nice and I could see myself playing this a ton. I think the general idea of it is simple as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly wasnt the worst experience however there was one the Im confused about. What is your method of Lerping(CFrame) your viewmodel when shooting? Its seems spassy alot of the time and doesnt seem the most efficient method of replicating recoil like such, its moreso elastic and spoofy if yk what I mean

There was also a bit of areas where the camera was a little weird and could be that youre linking it too early with the player causing you to see the skybox & delayed spawntimes

As for actual gameplay like I said it was decent but especially in earlier phases of development its hard to get a full grasp of an idea. I think the models definitely could be improved and even running thru some Blender or 3D Modeling software could increase quality by a lot. The walking sway was nice, kind of wanna know that equation for personal use :smiling_imp:

Animations I’m sure you’re working on eventually and I would think are a little tanky in the development process, but even for default I don’t see it as the worst thing.

Overall excited to see what this game could be but there are a lot of areas for improvement. You got an idea, and it could work out greatly if it all comes together just right :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Its literally just the default roblox walk anim

The viewmodel sway is not default walk anim :neutral_face:
