So i made this game a while ago and im starting to update it again. I need ppl who are interested to help me improve my game/ find bugs. The shop place does not sell anything rn i only made the interior.
Im going to fix those grammar issues the UGC stuff ik its not realistic but my friends wear them so its a litte odd the remove them but you have a point.
I set the maximum fps to 20 so thats why.
I wil add more easter eggs when i have the time!
Again thank you for helping me i really appreciate it
Honestly, if you ask me, I would much rather be here than in any other
relaxing/vibe/hangout game. Even the best ones out there. I truly love this, itâs amazing. It doesnât lag for me, no matter at what graphics I set it to, so thereâs no problem there. But, I understand why people would lag.
Overall thoughts: Amazing work! It really feels amazing to be in the game. 11/10 will play again =)
go to the spawn and look for a sign that says ââShopââ stand next to the pillar and you wil be teleported there click on a brick and u can buy it.
Oh wow thanks. You didnât have to make me a supporter rank. Its not like Iâm gonna even bother to play the game ever again. But jokes aside thanks, Iâm glad I could help out.
Itâs decent for a start; you did a good job making the UI look like it belonged to the period. For the future, I suggest that you:
Change the appearance of the hotbar to match the older UI.
Tweak the lighting to look less modern, since this hurts the old Roblox immersion for me right now. A good starting point would be to remove the Sky and Atmosphere objects and set the lighting technology to Compatibility.
Override the charactersâ clothing. In 2006 hats and t-shirts existed but shirts and pants did not, so I suggest that you either replace usersâ avatars completely or simply give them classic ânoobâ colours (yellow head and arms, blue torso, green legs) in place of their default clothing.
Change the NPCsâ method of communicating with the player. I suggest working with their visible nametags instead of using ScreenGUIs since customizable UI objects did not exist in 2006, at least as we know them today.
Keep working on this project; it will be interesting where you take it.
Since it looks like you are still working on this game, I will bump this.
Give it something different from other games that makes it want to be played more than other games.
Itâs pretty hard to tell there is a proximity prompt for teleportation in the lobby.
Overall the characters look⌠strange to say the least. If you want some inspiration for your characters you can look at this game I worked on for a bit.
Finally, the text on the logo might want to be changed. Doesnât really fit the background.
Overall your game is good. But might want some changes.
