Feedback on my game's lobby!

Hi. I recently did a lobby for my game. Please leave some suggestions and feedback! I will try to upgrade this lobby with your guy’s suggestions.

There’s usually signs, but the Roblox capture feature doesn’t include UI.

very nice. like the style.

just make sure everything fits together! a little bit weird having a nice detailed house, and then some giganta “blocky” mountain in the background lol

could use some more small decor. maybe a crate here or there.

keep it up!

That house looks epic! Although i feel like it needs more buildings instead of just one. Also how much of this is blender?

This game lobby looks VERY GOOD! It’s colorful and cool! How long did it take to create? I think you could add some small rocks around it for decoration. What is this used in?

It’s used in my game Zenith. It took 2 hours to make.

Most of the houses are actually made from parts. I modeled the pedestals.

Nice! Idk why I just have so much fun using the basic parts Roblox provides and creating something cool without blender and stuff. Hope your game does well!

Very good! Love the simple vibe that I think all lobbies should have, I like the style, etc. I do have a few criticisms though

  1. this blocky mountain thingy in the background really throws me off and looks really out of place and unnatural. I recommend adding more detail to it or removing it entirely because it just looks off.

  2. I think you should decorate the lobbg a bit more. Not too much, just give it some extra polish. Add some benches, add some flowers, add some apples or fruit to the trees, maybe even add a few NPC’s that sit on the benches or are propped up against the walls, maybe even make them say some random dialog, etc. Anything to make the game feel more alive and decorative is a plus. Other than that, the lobby looks great! Good work!

Feels a bit empty, add more grass and vegetation and rocks, just fill up the empty space.

I’m not a fan of the new materials being used on an old building style while studs are also being used while the low poly style is also being used while there’s also a realistic building.

Just decide on ONE style, you can’t mix them all together.

Either

  • Set all materials to smooth plastic, get new trees and a new building and remove all the blockyness for a low poly style

  • Swap from parts to terrain and again, get new tree models for a realistic style

  • Set all materials to Studs and get a different building for a classic style

Also, some more tips:

  • Place grass only where it makes sense, the grass coming out of the path looks insanely out of place.
  • When going for a more classic building style, always use the pre-2022 materials as the 2022 materials do not work with the style at all.
  • To “remove” or “fix” z-fighting (when 2 textures are overlapping) either increase the size or position by an insanely small amount (0.001) or union the 2 parts together. Your current fixes to z-fighting are insanely obvious, even from a distance.
  • Have some color variety, don’t use the exact same green everywhere, just alter the shade slightly on different parts.
