Very good job on the gun you can see that you put good attention to detail, just one thing though
I think for feedback you need to post this in cool creations instead, I could be wrong though.

Very good job on this, what texture are you going to be using?

not sure, maybe just studio’s colors and materials

I think it’s a shame to the 3D Model not to use textures.

You should go all out on the texture, don’t be lazy with it! It’s an amazing model and I think you should give it an amazing texture! But hey, I’m not forcing you.

Very nice recreation of a .50 cal sniper, you could add this extra detail;

Oh yeah! wow i didn’t noticed that. i should add it, thank you.

It’s nice. A quick tip for anything you 3D model though, turn off outlines, turn on shadows, maybe add some basic color mats and such, then just tilt the gun over a plane with a lightsource for some basic presentation. The scope looks a little higher poly than it needs to be. Smooth shading is extremely important usually, for most models, so I’d look into enabling that and such.

Okay! i’ll try that, can you prove me some tutorial link for that?

I don’t have any specific tutorials for that, I’ll just explain it. Right click the model and set it to smooth shading, in 2.8 there should be an option under normals for auto smooth but you can also manually sharpen edges in the edit menu by selecting them then marking sharp.
For Outlines and shadows you can do that through the top UIs. I think most tutorials for beginners cover the smooth shading and UIs though so if I missed something those’ll likely have the information.

This gun is really fancy. Good job.

I really like it!

  1. I would try making it smoother by rounding the edges.
  2. Can’t wait to see this thing either in game, or textured!
