Hello, fellow Developers! I have recently worked on this Homestore, and I would like some feedback to improve the build! So, feel free to reply to this and say what you think about it! Pictures are down below!

Looks great but you should add more stuff like for example a bench outside and also try to use more color in the building cause it is only grey and white but you did a good job.

It looks a little plain, try adding indoor plants and other decorations to make it look more lively. It’s also weird that there is random lighting on the roof when there are no lights there.

Mhm, I get your meaning with the lights, I wasn’t really sure how to add the lights so I need to practice more on that and you’re right, I need more decorations too! Thanks for replying!

The building itself looks simple yet nice. The outside though is just very simple so I think you should add more decorations to it.

Hmm, it’s fine, but way to basic.

It looks rushed, could have been made in 20-30 minutes. (Correct me if I’m wrong about that)

You should try to add more effort/details, maybe improve the lighting, or add more detail with the interior and exterior of the building.

Again, it looks rushed. Next time, take your time when creating your builds.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I actually took my time with this because I wanted to do it as well as I can, I spend way more time on this build which maybe seems weird to pro builders ( which I’m not) as it is so basic as you said. I will keep this feedback in mind, thanks again!

we all start somewhere (: glad to see an original-ish homestore design
although its quite small, (usually groups have 2-4 floors of clothing, its crazy)

but great job, and keep improving your skills :grinning:

Here’s a small tip that hopefully will help you, use some reference pictures, they help a lot!

As others have said, it looks kind of plain, maybe add some more stuff like tables and add some posters.

If you are going for an Apple Store look, I recommend adding more windows or lighting and maybe adding those showcase posters they have on the walls.

Posters ^

As of right now, you’ve got a very nice foundation. What your next step could be adding more decoration.

I like it! Although, you should add more detail. And, more clothing, or a bigger shop overall, depending on how much clothing there is.

Really good in my opinion. But currently the interior looks really bland, I suggest adding more attention to detail, for example, light switches, lights with light bulbs, electrical outlets, a fire extinguisher, and fire exit signs with glowing red text.

Thank you so much for such a nice reply!

Yeah, the interior is something I will need to practice more on, thanks for giving your opinion!

You’re right, when I’m ready for it I will make bigger ones but now I like to practice small as you can see your mistakes faster and can learn from it a lot.

I totally agree with that, I will definitely practice more on that!

This looks great! I believe that you could add a bit of decoration such as holiday decorations (e.g., Christmas = stockings).

Mhm, good idea! I’ll keep that in mind, thank you!
