Why is the tree 200% more detailed than the entrance? It’s off-putting.

Jokes aside! This looks pretty nice! I like how to made it looks almost completely like the reference image!

This is a nice start! But there is something that you could try adding, and that is patterns, in my opinion, if you add patterns to the entrance it will look way better!

ok thank you for the feedback

I suggest you add more curves to the actual entrance, it looks too spiky and square. Apart from that, the tree looks good.

The tree has a LOT more detail than the entrance, change the textures on the entrance a bit so people aren’t just drawn to the tree.

Is most likely a Japanese and Chinese entrance, considering I see these in Japan all the time. But these are seen in China all the time is well, so it’s kind of confusing. One thing that sticks out is the detail difference between the tree and the entrance, the tree detail is so much better than the entrance. Which doesn’t make the build itself look right at all, so make sure to work on that detail for the entrance.

I am pretty sure the entrance is using the plastic material, maybe you could change the material to wood or wood planks? And you could add a texture as well.

I agree that the gateway looks much more Japanese than Chinese, having studied both cultures very closely.

Japanese Gateway

It is obvious the Chinese was much more thoughtful in their architecture with slate, water-proof furnishing than the flat wooden way of the Japanese.

Sakura trees are also native to Japan though you still may see them in China.
