What’s up? It’s SupieUp! I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been giving feedback to me. Thanks to you, I wouldn’t have improved as much as I thought I would. Really, I appreciate it.
Moving on, I’d love feedback on these lovely pieces I’ve been working on the past week. I’ve also shifted to working on ROBLOX ads a bit more, I love variety. I’m also starting to work on full-body artworks, I’m not so good at them but I’ve been trying.
These are really cool! All of this artwork is very stylized (I adore your style by the way)
I can’t wait to see some more of your full-bodies, I’m sure they’re great!
hayello dere, i mainly havs stufs to talk abt on ur 2nd picture
adding a bit of highlightz to ur linearts is a neat touch, but i sometimes dont undrstand the placements of some, like da one on th hair. so u should keeps that in mind =P
i feel like da shadows could b a bit harsher and more saturated, an although using blending modez is a neat touch, i feel like its all ovr the place. i also recommend adding more dense shadows to it instead of vry blurry, airbrush-like shadows since it tends to look a bit messy (especially on da hair)
u could also put more harsher shadows since some are difficult to see, and try to shade with more vibrant colors instead of using dull colorz
an definitly work on ur anatomy, as her left arm’s shoulder appears to b a bit offs compared to the arm thats against her head
all in alls, hers a summary on what u could improv on:
use a combination of hard and soft shadows
use harsher shadows
dont putz stuff willy nilly
practic anatomy
but most importantly double checkz ur sketchz (if u do sketch cuz i dont…) to look for mistakes, use references, and always go back to looking at ur full image so u avoid unnecessarily putting a ton of details or miss mistakes/spots =)
You’ve definitely made improvements to your art. The reddish brown touches to the lineart is really pleasing to the eye. You pay attention to detail, for sure.
On the second photo though, I noticed that the proportion of her shirt looks a bit wonky. Also, the sleeve on the left is skin tight, yet the one on the right is floating off her skin. Clothes do not lay flat on the skin at all, so I’d recommend raising it up a bit more. It doesn’t have to fly over it, just hover a bit.
The first photo is super cute! If you did commissions I’d get one from you if you commissioned for robux. Only critique is that the head looks lopsided and not even. The lineart also looks a bit wobbly, but I know that’s hard to fix and I struggle with that as well. [This feedback also applies to the 3rd drawing]
1st ad is really good. I like it!
2nd ad is nice too! I don’t know if you intentionally put space underneath the character for text, but I’d put something there. Maybe the noob could be standing on some boxes?
