Feedback on my latest build!

Recently I decided to get back into building since I have been mostly scripting for the past year.

Here is my first build. I’m pretty happy with it especially since I havn’t built for a while. It’s part of an old mansion and I thought the positioning of it would be on the outskirts of the building with a great view of the surroundings! In this case the surroundings is a baseplate but you can fill it in with your imagination.

The build:

You can have a better look here:

Any feedback would be very much appreciated!

:ok_hand: I think it’s pretty good. did you make the ray effects using parts or a lighting system?

I would say its a nice build overall, could use some change here and there. Love the colour of the build, it generally looks great and i would say you dont really have to change anything about it other than maybe adding more detail to the upper part of the wall!

God Bless, have a great rest of your day!

Looks amazing! Btw how did you make those effects?

For the most part I like the light shadowing, try fixing the material up a little & putting darker shades of color I guarantee it will be a hit

Looks pretty good. The materials are plain, the windows look a little basic (you could make it stained glass) and add paintings.

Hey bobling, fancy seeing you here haha! Build looks great!

Amazing! How did you make that sun ray effects?

He made a part that came from the window and set the material to forcefield then maybe tweaked the transparency. He may have also used some pointlight.

Edit:
I joined the game It looks like he just set the material to Smoothplastic and set transparency to .7 or smthg.

Im not sure tho. Its all I can tell from the build.

Ok, that makes sense. I can see that working. Thanks

Looks great however kind of empty. You could add some chairs or painting to give your eye more to look at.

Yeah exactly what I did! I also added some simple effects for dust.

No way. What a coincidence!

I used parts made to fit the shape of the window and then used the basic roblox particles to make some nice looking dust!

Also for the shadow lighting I lined up the shadows from the roblox sun with the parts to make it look more realistic

Oh, wow! This looks awesome, nice job!

It looks good, but there is a thing that needs a bit of improvement.

  • The windows could have more detail because they look a bit bland.

Other than that you did a good job.
