Feedback on my new map, Toontown

Hey, i’m working on a map for one of my future film and roblox game project, Toontown, the home of the world’s animated characters. i have so much planned for this. and right now i wanna show you my project of the world of toons, My Toontown is the one from Roger Rabbit with parts from Mickey’s Toontown, various cartoons from the 1900s to the present, certain Mickey Mouse media Toontowns, and Toontown online, First up, we have Toontown Central where Town Square is:

And with that, It’s down Loopy Lane we go!

I should mention that a lot of the stuff i borrowed from various sources (not trying to steal or break roblox rules or anything heh,) _(D - that’s me sweating. Escpecially Mickey’s house from A disney map, i heavily modified it, and please for gosh’s sake, don’t report me, i’m innocent! It was just that i needed the best assets i could find and i don’t wanna lose my account. I can give credit to everybody who made what i modified if need be. This is currently the only building with an interior.

I’ve also made some toon characters which are also modified from existing models

Right now since i suck at importing shape keys into bones and importing that to roblox cause the meshes are deformed when they come in, i decided to use unions meshes and other parts to make the characters, and i’m working on a way to make an expressive face with these things and these are some samples of what i’m testing out:

So what do you guys think?

Looking good! To make it look even better, you could add some lighting effects, maybe try using Color Correction, Atmosphere, and SunRays or Bloom to make the place feel more alive and toony :')

Wow, your map is amazing. It gives me many vibes of this games: A and B. It is even better knowing that it probably isn’t even 40% finished (doesn’t have lighting, etc) good j#b on this!!!

Holy tris, that roof is diabolical

Please spare the GPU and stick with low-poly!

You ought to go with making a mesh in Blender, then rigging it for animation. You will do yourself an enormous favor, and it would speedup development by an astronomical amount compared to your current union method.

As someone who’s reluctantly learned Blender for the same reasons, I strongly recommend you start.

I don’t know anything rly abt this, the fact you’re even doing it is rly cool!

i WOULD IF I COULD, but i don’t know how to convert shapekeys to bones.

It is too late to convert, in my opinion. You should start modeling from scratch and use your existing model as reference.

looks good, remember me when you get sued in court 5 times

i wish i knew how to take an existing model and turn the shape keys into controllable bones for the rig so i could animate the face.

I can’t rig a face in blender for roblox i tried and i tried i can’t even dicide if i should use unions for the faces anymore

Anybody know how i can make an animated face rig with the unions meshparts and parts?

Map looks nice but I’d recommend changing the name, Disney owns the trademark and they are oh-so-kind when it comes to leaving up fan works

I have been waiting for so long to reply to this. I finally have access to post on the dev forum and I have always kept you my priority. I am going to be completely honest, this actually does look good. The nose on the Mickey Mouse could use some reshaping or smoothing but everything looks great, I hope the best to you on this.
