I spent some time making this cave system, it’s no where near to being done but I would like to hear your feedback.

It’s a bit empty maybe you could add a bit of terrain and trees in the background.
But overall it looks good.
This looks really great.
There’s one thing I can really tell you to include to your showcase. Which is stalagmites and stalactites.
They can really add to the realism of the cave.
Amazing work! ![]()
Hi Standard.
My main concerns with your showcase so far are that the lighting feels very extreme. For example, the entire front of my character is black at a certain angle! I’d reduce this level of darkness to make it more realistic.
Your use of meshes to put the cave together makes it seem very untidy and haphazard, and although that may be the intention, I do not believe it makes the cave look as pretty as it may without such clutter. That main category regards that which lies above the cave entrance, and the multiple rocks on the left and right. In short, many of these rocks’ placements do not give your cave the desired continuity that it would more than likely benefit from.
Your caves look realistic, and unique.
The lightning, in my opinion looks decent.
The textures look clean, and realistic.
Maybe you could add more detail such as:
This is soo good you really mastered the lightning and textures
It looks alright, it certainly is very small. I think you could make it a bit bigger and add some more details, such as:
Other than that, you did a pretty good job! ![]()
I think some crystals in the cave would look nice, at the sides.
It looks good, but also very rushed. It seems as if you UV unwrapped a rock and then used images search to find a rock texture and then slapped it on. Correct me if I am wrong.
I do admire the different pieces used to put it together, but added foliage inside like moss or something would do it really good.
The cave you have made looks really good. I think you have done a great job on it looks great, here is a couple of things to add to your cave. To improve it a lot more better as it seems to be empty!!
The cave itself doesn’t have no details on it, i would recommend you add some trees on the cave part and add some rocks in the water. So it could look like a cave as most caves have rocks in the water and on the cave walls and ceiling area you, could try adding that design to your cave and add some green moss and long weeds on the rocks! and cave to look decent…
I also see your adding some greens on the cave to look more better. You could also add some little tree weeds coming through the cave rock, to fit the whole design your going. Far as well make the cave more bigger! and deeper so you could implement different styles into it. Or add some water coming off the ceiling part.
Overall, you have done a great job looks really good.
Hi StandardDoor,
Some aspects of this build are really cool, such as the realism and overall ambition. So I was real interested in checking it out. Overall, I think its a beautiful build but has room for various improvements. I’m going to list them below and you can use my feedback however ya like.
Natural components
The spawn sticks out a great deal, but I do like how its like a connection between the ROBLOX world and the real world. However, I think it should be detailed as a stone material to better match in the setting, but still maintain a square-like shape with the iconic decal. I can see great work was put into the skybox as well, however I don’t think it matches with your build. The skybox has dirt brown rocks in a valley, but the build looks like a cave oceanside or is forest-dwelling due to its grey hue. Finally, some meshes are missing a side. So go over, and make sure that meshes can be seen at all common angles.
Invisible wall
The invisible wall is fairly inconsistent throughout the map. I can touch both sides of the same wall so its not really excluding any particular area. I also suggest adding an environmental border to define the presence of the invisible wall like surrounding trees or more rocks so that the showcase has a more present setting. This would also hopefully make it seem like the water is not just floating but is also contained in a map.
Dynamic lighting
This component is actually really well done, if so I’d like to see more of it. I also think having something similar to the glowworm caves in new Zealand would really add a whole new level of beauty to your caves.

Anyway, great job on your build! I’m sure it will really wow some people!
This is a prime example of how to use the new lighting and how to use realistic details. Good work.
