Feedback on my Obby - Revamping

I need suggestions for my difficulty chart obby. It is my first week of developing, so I accept any harmful messages.

In my opinion, you should add settings to disable the rainbow trail and the snowflakes on the screen, they can be annoying and also may cause lag to people that play on laggy devices. Also, stage 11 is almost impossible to beat.

Now I have a lot of experience with obbies and difficulty charts, I’ve made my own and am part of the Jtoh community (arguably the hardest obbies in roblox) so I think I’m in a position to judge. I’ll split this into 3 parts, first impressions, the obby itself and conclusion.

First impressions
There are 2 thumbnails, I believe one is stolen from Fox’s Obby Difficulty chart and the other is low quality, the icon is the same stolen thumbnail except not the proper size, the dimensions for an icon are 512x512 while its 1920x1080 for a thumbnail. Please don’t steal art, people were probably commissioned and spent a lot of time doing it. I go into the game and immediatly see a giant flash of colours. I don’t really get what theme you are going for, theres a (pretty low quality) mountain skybox yet the floor is yellow and the grass is a wierd aqua. I’m also pretty sure 50% of the stuff on the starter island is a free model.There are no guis (a good obby difficulty chart should at least have a menu, stage gui and a skip stage (depending on how much you want to monetize your game). There are no alignment keys. There is no R to reset button.

The obby itself
I do not understand why everything is this sand (I’m not sure if its sand) texture. I’ll first go to the practice area, then the wierd pole part then the obby. In the practice obby there are 3 “constructions”. There is a wall, a bit higher wall and some wraparounds. I have no idea what the walls are, are they some poorly made wallhops? I can’t tell. The wraparounds are nearly impossible to do, not the wraps themselves but the part where you have to get onto the beam and do a headhitter, it is around 4 studs which is around .75 of the player character (default r6). The wraps themselves are a .1 stud, a 1 stud, a 3 stud and what looks like a 5 stud.Next onto the tightrope thingy, it is a 0.1 stud and I did it while twirling my screen, it leads to a wierd empty misaligned island with some free model grass and rocks. There is Z-fighting between the grass and “dirt”.Now onto the obby itself, The first stage is walking. The second stages island is misaligned with some very easy killbrick jumps. There is instant player death which is good. The 3rd stage are nearly identical. The 4th stage is a walking simulator with some beamsin the middle of the path, very easy. 5th stage is some jumps, nothing original. The 6th stage is some jumps with pillars on the jumps. The 7th stage is the same but with the pillars stretched out. Getting repetitive. 8th is some wraps (1 stud). 9th is some obstacles on a wall. 10th are stickouts. People are saying that 11th is nearly impossible and this is true, its repetitive and hard and we were doing 1 studs 2 stages ago, its such a sudden spike in difficulty. The little islands are also misaligned and there is an unequal distance between them.

Conclusion
To be blunt, I would stop playing this after 30 seconds. Why play this when you can play better difficulty charts. This brings nothing new to the table, no new features, no boosts, no nothing. The jumps are repetetive and the colour scheme is making my eyes hurt. If you want to ever make this go somewhere you’ll have to redo the whole game. 2.25/10

Suggestions
Make the snowflakes optional
remove the rainbow trail, maybe give it to the player after he/she has completed the obby
more content
add some guis
revamp the whole game
do something with the practice obby
revamp the whole “practise area”
actually make it easier to harder, not hard then easy then hard
add some difficulties so it is easier to distinguish where you are
