Hello Dev Forum!

I have been discussing over an idea for the past couple of months which involves me building a place where people can claim their own mini “homestore” and sell clothes on mannequins. The owner of the mini homestore would also be able to change the colour scheme etc. As well as having some decals which they could potentially put their logo on. The homestore would all be arranged into a mall like area.

Do you guys think this is worth pursuing or a waste of creation time? And if I did do you think it would keep enough players?

Oh, sorry I dont think I’ve explained it correctly! I mean have a system like GRP (Group recruiting plaza) where people can rent little buildings and sell their clothes. Sorry for the mistake, my bad!

I personally think this would be a good game idea, but it would take a large amount of time.

Yeah, this is just a poll really to see if anyone would actually be down for it. I have the experience I believe to make it happen as I did something similar a while back, Thanks for your response!

I feel like it would be a good idea! If it’s well executed I feel that it could help not only you, but also help out all the small groups out there having trouble selling things, the only question I’d have about it is if it’s even possible to prompt purchases for other people’s clothes. I assume you’d have to put a script where it takes the clothes ids and makes them a purchasable item in game. But no matter what I wish you luck with this and hope it becomes a success!

Good idea, but with recent changes to clothing I doubt many people will still design, let alone invest more capital on this game.

Thank you! I believe there is a way to sell others clothing in game as I can vaguely remember a setting of “allow cross place purchases” or something like that.

Yeah, personally I don’t really design clothes, mind me asking what changes have happened to clothing?

You no longer need premium for it, but nobody makes a consistent profit of 100/piece

Would be quite interesting to see especially if people can sell the clothes that they made through the Roblox catalog. It would be a good way to avoid the bots shadowing everybody else’s work but would mean everybody has to go to that one place just to shop and then the catalog gets shadowed.

Yeah, I’m sure it would be quite good. The only downside would be keeping concurrent players.
