Feedback on my SCP:Unity Remake "port" to Roblox

Greetings,

I’ve been working on a classic SCP: Containment Breach port to Roblox for a year. Recently, a lot of SCP: CB ports started showing up, which drained my motivation for it, so I have decided to move on for now. I’m still working on it occasionally, but it’s not my main focus at the moment.

I’ve started porting SCP: Unity Remake instead, since I feel it’s pretty underrated. If the demo turns out as I’m hoping, I’ll start expanding into features and zones like heavy containment, entrance zone, gates, etc.

Some features from Unity Remake won’t be included because of Roblox’s limitations, but I’m adding my own original stuff and also bringing back some things from vanilla scp:cb that a lot of people liked (and that I like too).

For the demo, I’m planning a chaotic free roam multiplayer mode with a bunch of gamemodes, kinda like Anomaly Breach, with mobile support. Later on, I’m hoping to add more multiplayer modes and better device support overall. I’m also working on my own FPS framework for this instead of using anything already made like ACS, so some systems are still pretty early.

There’s not much to show visually right now. Importing room models from a decompiled Unity build and porting the code has been painful, and while half of the rooms are already imported, most of them don’t have props yet since they’re still being built.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially critical feedback that could help improve the project or point out issues early.

Looks incredible! I do get the feeling of losing motivation and its easy to succumb to it, just try to remind yourself how great things will look and feel whenever you do end up reaching that point.
