Hi everyone!
I’ve been programming since 2022 and recently returned to full-time development. I’ve just launched a new project that creates a blend between “brain rot” meme culture and Adventure Capitalist style idle mechanics.
While I’m happy with the build, the stats are concerning:
- Average Session Time: ~7 minutes.
- Monetization: Conversion is near zero.
I am trying to figure out where the disconnect is. I see similar games in this genre performing very well, so I know there is an audience for it.
I’m looking for specific feedback on:
- The First 5 Minutes: Is the gameplay loop too slow or too confusing?
- Monetization: Are the gamepasses/products unappealing, or is the UI just not pushing them enough?
- UI/UX: Does the interface look polished enough to retain players?

Thank you!
Why the dislikes? something is clearly wrong. Im assuming some bugs, maybe game breaking or crashing ones. Look at the error report and try to fix that first
Just joined the game, its pointing me to towards a base that i dont own
Alright, I played the game for like 10 minutes and I have some comments and suggestions:
About my gameplay:
- I first joined and I did what the arrow said to me to do (buy the first stall).
- After that, I became a little bit lost because there weren’t no more arrows or instructions. Maybe this be the first point when people leave: they don’t know exactly how to proceed.
- Then I realized I had to click the button to win money. I know this look obvious but I have never played a game with this mechanic.
- The first 2 minutes I would say is clicking the button to get money and upgrading the first stall.
- Then, the arrow appeared again: I could buy another stall, and I bought it.
- Maybe this is the second point when people leave: they say “oh no, this is a repetitive simulator”. Besides some people liking, I think most doesn’t.
- After buying it, I didn’t understand quite well the mechanic: I need to run from one stall to another pressing the buttons? I guess it worths more upgrade the first stall and continue with it without caring about the second one until getting the manager of the first one: and that is what I did.
- After buying the manager, I still had the impression that it is better to invest everything in the first stall than start farming on the second stall.
- Then a guy came to my base and slapped me. That’s when I realized there were a PvP system (I’ll say more about that in the suggestion part).
- I played a little bit more and felt the game to be really repetitive as it seemed in the first 4~5 minutes.
Suggestions and Questions:
- What purpose do the people who comes to your first stall serve? They do something from the script point of view or just appear and disappear? I remember I got a little bit confused about that.
- Why the second stall (the one with the cat-shrimp) is in a aquarium and the others doesn’t have anything special? This is NOT a main issue, I just thought it funny.
- About PvP and the slap hands: If you want it to be a principal mechanic, you should make it more important. I mean, now, I don’t see any reason to me to go to another players’ base and get like 300 cash. So I don’t see any reason to buy better slap hands. And the shield is basically useless too (I see the guys invading my base and I see in their face they saying “HA! I GOT YOU”, but when they try to steal money from you, they steal like 200 cash (basically nothing) and I feel the disappointment that they feel). And, as I said, I just realized there were a PvP system when a guy came and slapped me. I understood you wanted to do something like ‘Steal a Brainrot’, but, in this case, give the spotlight that they give to this mechanic: make chat messages telling when a rare slap hand spawn; create new slap hands with various and different powers (maybe that remind brainrots?); make them bigger and somehow make the path that they go through stand out too. Or you explain that on the tutorial.
- Create a leaderstats. It’s pretty simple to do (will take you like max 5 minutes) and creates a good fight between the players to see who’s better that maybe keep them in the game.
- Seeing now, I think your GUI maybe needs to stand out a little bit more. When I was playing, I took a while to realize that there are rebirth and gifts button.
- About repetitiveness: My advice to break this feel of repetitiveness is add something to make player leave their base. Some suggestions: make random events that one big bad brainrot appear in the middle of the map and the one who gives more damage gets good amount of cash (based on the cash this person has and their upgrades); make the combat worths it so it is worth for the person to leave his base to attack other ones.
- Just now I realized there is global leaderboards… but they seem a little useless, because I can’t see what these people have. And they are very hidden and almost transparent.
that’s what I mean, like, the guys from the right leaderboard have 2 what? I guess rebirths, but I can just guess.

Minor bug fixes (not the cause of the trouble you’re having but it is good to fix):
- I just spotted two bugs: when the games recommend you to buy one of the slap hands, even after I buy one, the game keeps the arrow and the text of “Grab a flying hand bla bla bla”.
- The other one is the arrow that appears on top of the flying hand it recommends you: the arrow appears, all fine. But the hand keep moving and the arrow doesn’t, so after some time the arrow is just floating alone until the game recomends me another flying hand.
I hope this helps you!
