Hello, I’m BGPhijack! I’ve been working on a tiny project called Arch Linux Sandbox since late 2024, and I’m eager for your help with any improvements or feedback.

What is Arch Linux Sandbox?

Arch linux Sandbox is a full OS-virtualized game that is hosted using containers run by incus which allows the user to have full hardware access without limitations.

System Architecture

Instead of traditional methods were we wait for a user to join to cold boot a container, we actually use Something called pre-warming It simply downloads the ISO image on boot, and then when done installing, it creates a snapshot so when the user leaves the game, it can swiftly rollback without having to fully reinstall.

For what purpose does this serve?

Not trying to sound like a hater but connecting to a VPS through Roblox is definitely up there in terms of niche.

Practical use for people who would try out Linux without having to waste time at the installation part.
