The piece sounds very calming and makes for great background music. I’ve never heard the original so I can’t really speak too much on that side.
As for using it, you should be able to claim a Creative Commons licence as this is a remix and not a direct ripoff of the original. But, again, I have not heard the original so I cannot speak to how close it sounds to it but as long as there’s audible differences you should be fine.
